Simon and Jess’ eldest son, George was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at the age of 2. They were told that he would never speak, and that he would never lead what is traditionally considered a ‘normal life’.

Determined to seek as much early intervention as possible, Jess took another year off work to assist in George’s therapy, and Simon supported them by picking up the tools in their home garage (whilst also working full-time) to supplement their income.
As word of mouth grew, they quickly outgrew their capacity to work from home. They were delighted to be offered a space to operate inside Cramp Bros Bodyworks, which became, and always will be our flagship store.

As many of the customers know, that site was also quickly outgrown as our ability to provide further maintenance options increased (tyres, air conditioning, auto electrical and major overhauls). This led to Simon and Jess taking over the lease from Doug and Brendan at the Lenah Valley Service Centre, and our second store became operational in early 2021.

We are accountable for every action taken on your vehicle, and always operate with this value in mind. We take photos of all damaged components to ensure you know you are ‘getting what you pay for’, and take our time to provide detailed explanations for all work undertaken to ensure you know you can drive safely; anywhere, anytime.
